One Funny Thing: I brought Krispy Kremes to work today, forgetting that last night was the library's bake sale at the city band concert. We have LOTS AND LOTS AND LOTS of sugar to eat today. Hyper Library Staff Alert!

One Good Thing: It's raining. Hopefully a nice soaking rain to help the grass look less dead around here.

One Weird Thing: Sparky's friend has indeed vacated, leaving toys in the newly sodded and mulched yard. There isn't a stick of furniture in the house, nor are there curtains at the windows. Their phone is still working, though the answering machine isn't plugged in anymore. WPP? Or just deadbeats? They seemed too nice to be the latter. The former--I've read too many mysteries, I think!
