Thursday mid-afternoon

One Good Thing: The sun in shining and there's no snowfall.
One Funny Thing: I recently discovered that the Esperanto word for "SHH!" is "Cxit!" pronounced approximately like the fastest, spittiest way of saying "Shit!"
One Weird Thing: Our little village of just over 4,000 employs a police officer who hails from South Africa. He is super nice, but it was quite surreal hearing him shouting at me to evacuate my house the other night.

One God Thing: Today's "official" verse of the day is "...whoever drinks the water I give him will never thirst. Indeed, the water I give him will become in him a spring of water welling up to eternal life." (John 4:14) It's not something that immediately screamed out its perfection, but upon consideration, I could use a little of that supernatural water, just a spray of it.
One Music Thing: I was humming "Strangers in the Night" all the way to work today. In the process, I was trying to remember this doggerel.
One Book Thing: I need to do more reading and less gaming and other "electronic-ing." Then again, my favorite authors should stop writing 700-page books, too!
